I am incredibly honored to share that Health and Safety Programs in Small and Medium-sized Businesses was featured in the "Worth Reading" section of the May 2026 issue of the Professional Safety Journal (PSJ). As the flagship peer-reviewed publication for the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP), the PSJ is a vital resource for our community, and having my work highlighted there means a great deal to me. My goal in writing this book was to cut through the regulatory "white noise" and provide small business leaders with a highly practical, actionable framework to build safety systems that truly protect workers. To see that mission recognized by the editors at PSJ is a fantastic milestone, and I hope it helps guide even more SMEs toward building sustainable, value-driven safety cultures.
